Advanced Clustering Technology representatives will be on hand later this month for PEARC19 in Chicago. Advanced Clustering’s President and CTO, Kyle Sheumaker, will be making a presentation during the SighHPC Systems Professionals Symposium, a half-day workshop that takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, July 29. The presentation is called “Best Practices for Writing an RFP for the Acquisition of HPC Equipment.”

As an HPC hardware integrator with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Advanced Clustering has seen it all when it comes to RFPs. When written well, an RFP results in a smooth purchasing process and deployment. When written poorly, you can end up in a situation where the entire process has to be started again, resulting in long delays. The presentation will cover best practices for RFP writing and will share examples of good and bad RFP documents.
