Posted on March 5, 2020

A number of trade shows that are typically of interest to the high performance computing industry are being cancelled or altered due to concerns about the spread of CoronaVirus. We are keeping our Events page updated with the latest information being shared by show organizers. You can check those updates here.

As of today, the latest information we have about a number of upcoming or current events is as follows:

The Rice Oil and Gas HPC Conference took place as planned this week in Houston. Billed as the premier meeting place for those focused on computing and information technology challenges and needs in the oil and gas industry, the event happened because there are no reported cases of the disease in Houston or Harris County.

The American Chemical Society meeting (ACS20) is on track to take place March 22-26 in Philadelphia.

GTC20, which is NVIDIA’s deep learning and AI conference, has been downgraded to a digital-only conference. The latest information can be found here.

As of now the Coalition for Advancing Digital Research and Education (CADRE) event is scheduled to take place April 16-17 at the Oklahoma State University campuses in Stillwater and Tulsa. Stay tuned here for updates.
